Come cheer on the skippers of the Vendée Globe 2020!

Postponed due to the health context, the Skippers Parade for the 9th edition takes place on the Remblai des Sables d’Olonne, punctuated by fireworks visible from the Grande Plage.

9.30 p.m.: parade of skippers, from Place de Strasbourg to Les Atlantes. Ambulance of street companies and floats on the theme of the 4 elements: earth, air, fire, water.
11 p.m.: fireworks. The pyromusical show, an original creation by the Jacques Couturier Organization fireworks teams, magically retraces the key moments of the 2020 edition of the Vendée Globe.

The next morning, discover the village of the Arctic Vendée – Les Sables d’Olonne!
Admire the impressive IMOCA boats at the pontoon, meet the skippers and enjoy free entertainment in the race village, which will be open for 3 weeks!
The start of this first qualifying race towards the Vendée Globe 2024 will be given on Sunday 12 June afternoon.
