Papiers d’Armenies – Concert l’Historial de la Vendée 85170 LES LUCS SUR BOULOGNE
On guitar, accordion and piano tunes, the Département de la Vendée invites you to follow these five artists on a long journey through Istanbul, Erevan and Paris.
The artists reinvent their Armenia and bring out a deep music, full of stories, faces, spicy cuisine and festive moments.
Inspired by the traditional tunes of Armenia, Georgia, Greece and Anatolia, the music of Papiers d’Arménies takes you on a long journey, crisscrossing the paths leading to Istanbul, Yerevan, Paris or Los Angeles.
The five performers tell the story of a plural Armenia where popular songs, original compositions and lyrical improvisations are mixed. The breathtaking sound of the doudouk is joined by the heartbreaking sound of the kamantcha. We go from laughter to tears, from melancholy to lively swing, when the accordion, the guitar and the piano enter the party.
