Mature students of English

I' m looking for people who run English type businesses in the area who would welcome a group of 5 mature students who have been working hard on their English, for a short visit t learn about the lives of British people in the Vendee, eg a shop selling English products. Does anyone have any ideas? Failing that, are their any groups who meet regularly where we could just talk to people about how they find life here, the difficulties etc? Especially about the health system, as they are studying to be medical secretaries and have a good working knowledge, if anyone has any questions!
